1. The "Zero-Data" Promise

Most software companies write long privacy policies explaining how they sell your data. We don't have to do that.

Because our software operates on a "Bring Your Own Backend" (BYOB) model, SingleFile Studios collects, transmits, reads, and stores absolutely zero of your personal application data. Whether you are logging health metrics, managing family history, or tracking assets, that data moves strictly between your local web browser and your personal Google Firebase infrastructure. We cannot see it, and we cannot sell it.

2. Information We Do Collect (The Stripe Exception)

To legally operate our business and deliver your software, we collect only the minimal information required at checkout.

• Billing Information: When you purchase an app, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your email address, name, and payment details.
• Communication: We only use the email address provided to Stripe to deliver your software receipt, send critical security/bug patches, and coordinate "Concierge Setup" services if purchased.

Note: SingleFile Studios never directly touches or stores your credit card numbers; that is securely handled entirely by Stripe.

3. Third-Party Services

Our applications are designed to interface with third-party tools (such as Google Firebase for database storage and the Google Gemini API for artificial intelligence).

When you plug your own API keys into our software, your data is governed by the privacy policies of those specific providers. We strongly encourage you to review Google's privacy policies regarding data retention and AI model training on API inputs.
