1. The SingleFile Model & License

SingleFile Studios sells standalone, self-hosted web applications. When you purchase our software, you are purchasing a perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, modify, and host the provided HTML/JS files for your personal or internal business use.

You may not resell, redistribute, or publicly host the source code for unauthorized third-party access. We provide the digital blueprint "as is."

2. "Bring Your Own Key" (BYOK) & Cloud Liability

Our applications require you to provide your own third-party infrastructure credentials (e.g., Google Firebase configurations, Google Gemini API keys). You are 100% responsible for the security of your own API keys and cloud infrastructure.

If you accidentally expose your `.html` file, paste your keys into a public repository, or modify the code to exceed your cloud provider's free tier, SingleFile Studios is strictly not liable for any resulting financial charges, data loss, or server costs levied by Google or any other third party.

You hold sole responsibility for monitoring your own Google Cloud and API billing limits.

3. Medical, Health & Scientific AI Disclaimers

Specific applications in our portfolio (such as Health Ledger and Aqua Analyst) utilize third-party Large Language Models (LLMs) and computational algorithms to process data. By using these tools, you agree to the following:

• Not Medical Advice: Health Ledger and similar wellness apps are for educational and self-tracking purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a physician before making dietary changes.
• Public Guidelines: Nutritional targets within our apps are modeled after general public health guidelines (such as those provided by organizations like the American Heart Association). SingleFile Studios is not endorsed by or affiliated with the AHA.
• AI Hallucinations: The artificial intelligence models you connect to our software (e.g., Gemini) are prone to "hallucinations," mathematical errors, and visual misinterpretations. You are required to independently verify all AI outputs before ingesting food, applying medical treatments, or adding volatile chemicals to pools/spas.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall SingleFile Studios, its founder, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including data loss or cloud computing charges, arising out of the use or inability to use our software. In the event of any catastrophic failure, our maximum legal liability to you is strictly capped at the amount you paid for the software (e.g., $19.99).
